For a United Nations Agency in Geneva, everis is currently looking for aremote Learning Designer.



In this role you will beresponsible for

  • Support teams in applying current andragogical theories and frameworks to inform course design and development across all learning modalities (on-site, digital, and learning labs).
  • Support definition of key target audiences from multisectoral stakeholders and design specific learning objectives for these groups.
  • Liaise with subject matter experts to develop competency frameworks and define competency-based learning outcomes courses(in alignment with UNscompetency framework approach and standards).
  • Advise on the most effective use of the latest evidence-based learning technologies in the design and development of competency-based courses, including simulations, virtual reality (including personalised and immersive learning), augmented reality, mixed reality, virtual patient simulations, gamified learning, etc
  • Ensure alignment of learning objectives to course content, assessment tools, and key competencies and roles of target audiences. Develop, validate, and apply a practical evaluation framework and set of learning analytics to gauge learning effectiveness and impact using the Kirkpatrick 4-level model.
  • Develop digital learning experiences and learning aides





Youwill needknowledge and skills on

  • Mnimum 3 years known and demonstrated experience in relevant field.
  • Specialists: minimum 5 up to 10 years known and demonstrated experience in relevant field.
  • Experts: above 10 years known and demonstrated experience in relevant field.



  • Ability to prioritise and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems



  • Strong verbal and written communication skills demonstrated through presentations, reporting, and communication with internal/external stakeholder groups
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural teams



  • Previous experience with lifelong learning, digital learning, personalised immersive learning, and innovation in adult learning.
  • Previous experience in agile project management in large, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Previous experience with open certification management systems and digital learning recognition platforms.



It will bedesirableif you have experience on

  • Experience in facilitating workshops, presentations to senior stakeholders, and managing change ina federated (decentralized) organization;
  • Extensive experience in working across multiple time zones without the need for face to facemeetings;
  • Experience with UN or other international or multinational organizations; and



Languages:

  • Expert knowledge in spoken and written English.
  • Basic knowledge in French is desirable, but not mandatory.
