You will support our activities in the antibody technology group and contribute to our ongoing drug development programs. In this context, you will take part in the identification, cloning and biochemical characterization of antibody candidates using a wide range of techniques.

Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Conduct research for the discovery of therapeutic antibody candidates using Neurimmune’s Reverse Translational Medicine (RTM) technology.
  • Isolate, culture, assay antibody producing cells.
  • Setup and perform biochemical and cell-based assays for antibody discovery and validation.
  • Hands-on experience with various mammalian protein expression systems.
  • Identify and retrieve therapeutic cells producing antibodies and clone them.
  • Develop and test new protocols to further optimize RTM technology.
  • Evaluate, interpret, and present results.


Profile:

  • MSc degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology or equivalent.
  • Good practice in isolation, handling, and cultivation of primary eukaryotic cells and/or cell lines.
  • Experience with immunological techniques such as ELISA and Western Blotting.
  • Good command of laboratory instrumentation like flow cytometry, microscopy, microfluidics.
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning and vector expression.
  • Expertise in assay development, antibody expression and purification are a plus.
  • You are detail-oriented, focused on data quality, able to work on multiple projects in parallel.
  • Strong ability to plan and work independently and work in a team.
  • Good writing and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in experience in pharma or biotech is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of English./li>
