In the bioanalytical laboratory, part of the Department for Preclinical Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK), we are seeking a motivated Research Technician/Scientific Associate on a permanent basis.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analysis of samples of biological matrices (e.g. plasma, urine) using LC-MS
  • Document practical work using paper as well as electronic documentation system in a controlled environment (GLP)
  • Perform general lab duties
  • Plan daily practical work
  • Take care of and maintain technical instrumentation
  • Maintenance of LC-MS equipment
Candidate’s Requirements
  • Apprenticeship in Chemistry/Biology or Bsc/Msc in field of Analytical Chemistry (PhD will not be considered).
  • Basic knowledge of chromatographic techniques, like HPLC and LC-MS
  • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
  • Ability to plan and accurately document practical work
  • Good communication and team-working skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Technical and instrumentation skills
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Well-organized, flexible in work assignment and work schedule
  • Hands-on attitude and ability to work efficiently and independently
