Main PurposeIt is the Retail Visual Merchandiser to plan, implement, and execute Montblanc VM standards in the boutiques, in Switzerland and to be responsible for Montblanc image at POS. The Retail Visual Merchandiser is Office-based (Plan-les-Ouate) with regular travel to the boutiques. Reporting to Marketing Manager and working closely in collaboration with Retail Department.Job challenges
  • To meet the challenges of the Maison’s diversity, positioning and development strategy by actively implementing the local market strategy
  • Display organizational skills
The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for:
  • Implementation, planning and execution of VM in the 4 internal boutiques and 1 external boutique
  • Coordination of VM implementation with Retail & Marketing teams
  • Seasonal and standard decoration order and planning for a timely implementation
  • Overview and management of VM Budget (part of the Marketing Budget)
  • Communication with Headquarter and boutique
  • Responsible for circulating all relevant information to the boutiques and all other relevant stakeholders
  • Autonomous planning of VM execution after alignment with the boutiques team
  • Execution of special event decoration
  • Development of special requirements at the boutiques
  • Regular VM reporting of deco implementations to HQ
The Visual Merchandiser also ensures:
  • Ad hoc support as required by Management
The Visual Merchandiser contributes to:
  • Maintaining Montblanc’s image as a luxury Maison living up to the highest customer experience standards
  • Making all VM initiatives a success
  • The implementation of the Montblanc Fundamentals
Qualifications
  • Team-player, to achieve strong, coordinated results
  • Autonomous and flexible.
  • A strong aesthetic sense
  • Good communication skills
  • Commercial sensibility
  • Able to read and interpret commercial reports influencing the VM implementation
  • Organized and multitasker
  • Solid competences with Microsoft Office (Excel & PPT)
  • Fluent in French and English. German and/or Italian are a plus
  • Willingness to travel
Profile
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in VM
  • Experience in luxury or fashion is preferred
