The main task as a Revenue Steering Analyst is to maximize revenues for a given set of routes by forecasting traffic flows, anticipating trends and setting flight optimisation parameters. You need to be very strong with numbers, have business acumen and willingness to take on responsibility.

Tasks
Maximise revenues for a given set of routes by balancing demand, capacity and opportunity costs
Identify and assess external market conditions such as booking behaviour, demand patterns or special events and create demand forecast for traffic flows on assigned routes
Analyse operational flight patterns and set/adjust flight optimisation parameters
Monitor and analyse performance by gathering relevant information from various databases/reports and derive improvement measures
Ensure close collaboration and exchange with interfaces at Revenue Management, Network Management and Station Management
Model and calculate business cases also in coordination with Network Management
Prepare and hold persuasive presentations in front of peers, interfaces and superiors

Requirements
University degree in economics, business administration or similar education
Proven entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on attitude
Excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
Experience in data manipulation and analysis
Highly motivated team player
Strong interpersonal & intercultural communication and social skills
Ability to break complex subjects down to their essential components, whilst not losing focus of the big picture
Excellent oral and written presentation skills; must be competent at writing and illustrating analyses and presentations
Ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organisation, by clearly articulating subject matters in a persuasive manner
Proven IT skills (esp. MSExcel and PowerPoint)
Fluent (written & spoken) in English; German is an asset
