Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience with managing risk and compliance programs, or the execution of security risk assessments, or IT audits in a cloud service provider environment.
  • Experience with cloud computing regulatory and compliance requirements related to security, privacy, sovereignty, extended workforce, and third party management, including data governance technologies.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications, including CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIPP, CIPM, CCSP, or information security certifications.
  • Experience with global or regional cloud regulatory compliance frameworks, controls, and industry leading practices (e.g., SOC 2/3, ISO 27000 series, PCI DSS, HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST CSF, FedRAMP, GDPR, BSI-C5, GxP).
  • Experience with regulations governing personally identifiable information (PII) and requirements from regulators, such as SEC, FFIEC, DoD, FINRA, EBA, FCA, PRA, BaFin, etc.
  • Experience with managing the implementation of data security, privacy, and compliance programs or managing internal IT audits in a cloud service provider environment.

In this role, you will engage with customers to address their risk and regulatory requirements and lead audit engagements that meet the customers’ regulatory requirements and accelerate cloud adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, drive, and facilitate risk and regulatory compliance audit engagements initiated and requested by Google Cloud’s customers, internal audit teams, assigned third party auditors, or their regulators around the world.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key leadership stakeholders, typically in risk and compliance organizations, to retain and enhance continuous trust in Google Cloud’s products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Google to prepare and execute customer and partner led audit engagements. Educate on Google Cloud’s ongoing compliance postures to meet business, risk, or regulatory requirements.
  • Gain and maintain an in-depth understanding of key aspects of Google’s unique and extensive technology stack, its’ common infrastructure and unique operating environment in support of the audit engagements you will lead.
  • Travel 20% of the time, as needed.
