Robotics & Discrete Automation Master Data Manager

We are looking for a Global Master Data Manager to join our Robotics & Discrete Automation business. You will be responsible for Master Data Strategy for Robotics based on business needs and ABB Master Data standards. Together with Business Process Owners, IS and Business Management You will ensure that the vision and strategy for Master Data supports the Business Goals and Business strategy. You will help in the implementation of existing and new Master Data standards and monitor the compliance by ensuring that relevant set of instructions, standards and rules are established to regulate the management of data within the Robotics Business. This position reports to the Channels Operations & Compliance Manager.

Your responsibilities

• Operate within all ABB Master Data domains with a prime focus on Product & Material and Customer & Vendor
• Act as first point of contact and escalations for Master Data requests within Robotics Business projects and business as usual
• Build Master Data Roadmap and ensure Master Data strategy and priorities align with Robotics Business Strategy
• Ensure that relevant sets of instructions, standards and rules are established and regulate the management of the data within the Business
• Ensure that Master Data Completeness, Compliancy and Correctness is measured and meets the targets of defined KPI’s.
• Represent RA Business in the ABB Business Data Management Board (Global Master Data Team).
• Together with Business Process Owner and Users, ensure the high Master Data Quality.

Your background

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Economics or related fields and experience in Master Data/ SAP Master Data management or equivalent field.
• Experience in Financial Processes where Master Data is actively used or equivalent.
• Strong listening, critical thinking and teamwork skills and ability to multi-tasking.
• Feels comfortable in independent management role.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset and high competency to trouble shoot and solve problems.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
