To complete our creative and dynamic team in Lausanne, we are seeking an:

Robotics Engineer/Autonomy start date: as soon as possible

As an Autonomy Engineer you will be part of the Flyability Autonomy Team, responsible for designing and implementing algorithms for our next generation of drones. The Autonomy team is a driven and ambitious team working together on solving challenging real-world robotics problems.

Your Role
  • Develop, implement and optimize real-time flight algorithms spanning topics such as computer vision, SLAM, sensor fusion, motion planning, and controls
  • Design robust, efficient and well tested production ready code
  • Develop deep understanding of core robotic concepts/principles and how our system works
  • Be flexible to collaborate on whichever problems we might encounter outside field of expertise
  • Going on missions for testing system in real-world environments
Your Profile
  • Direct hands on experience with implementing computer vision, SLAM, sensor fusion, motion planning, or control algorithms on a product
  • Good software engineering foundation and committed to writing clean, tested and well structured code
  • Good proficiency in C++ and Python
  • A good team player willing to work in a dynamic and ambitious team
  • Previous drone experience a plus
