  • Leadership experience in sales with global key accounts
  • Experience with leading global remote teams
  • Successful university degree in physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or as industrial engineer
  • Sales drive, persistence, solution- and goal-oriented way of working
  • Confident appearance, strong communication and negotiation skills coupled with pleasure in contact with people and willingness to travel globally (max. 25%)

Your Responsibilities

As Sales Director Industrial at Sensirion you identify the trends, challenges and the needs of your customers in the Industrial market (Analytical Instruments, Semiconductor, Gas Metering, Smart Energy & Water Quality). Together with your team, you will ensure that Sensirion is perceived by our customers as part of their market, maintain relationships with customers and ensure sustainable growth in your market. Your future supervisor, Stephan (Sales Director Vertical Markets), tells you what to expect.

What are the specific tasks?

We are in close contact with our global customers and accompany the projects with our team directly or are additionally supported by our local offices. With our expertise in sensor solutions and the close cooperation with R&D, Product Management and Field Application Engineering we lead the projects to a successful conclusion. Commercial aspects such as pricing and contract negotiations complete our varied daily routine.

What are the daily challenges?

As Sales Director, you will be able to establish and maintain relationships with the customer as well as internally with all departments at all levels. The goal is for the customer to perceive us as a reliable partner. To do this, we need to understand the market, the technology and the customer’s culture in order to exude competence and build trust.
