We are looking for an experienced professional with sales and marketing skills to join our Asset Servicing Global Wealth Management team in Zurich, Switzerland.

As Sales Manager Asset Servicing you will be working with our most sophisticated clients in the UHNW/Global Family Office space to promote and advise on our product shelf. Key activities in this role include:

  • Prepare and participate in client and prospect meetings representing the Asset Servicing product shelf and promote UBS proprietary wealth-tech solutions
  • Drive and support sales planning and strategy across different GWM/GFO markets and coordinate roll-out of new projects and initiatives
  • Identify, analyze client needs, propose client offerings and drive the acquisition process
  • Participate and represent Asset Servicing GWM in various internal and external platforms
  • Ensure exchange and leverage of best practice between the GWW/GFO markets
  • Engage client advisors in identifying opportunities to grow cross-selling opportunities through systematic analyzing of existing client portfolios
  • Coordinate the implementation of newly acquired clients together with the responsible relationship manager and internal stakeholders using your project management skills
  • Track, report and monitor ongoing sales initiatives

Asset Servicing is the global competence center within UBS for institutional custody, market access & infrastructure, private label fund services and performance & risk analytics. We provide these bespoke services to wealthy individuals, family offices, financial intermediaries and institutional clients around the world. We are headquartered in Zurich with offices in New York, Luxembourg, Frankfurt, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Your expertise

  • Proven experience in a sales or acquisition role, ideally supplemented with experience as a client advisor or product specialist (e.g. fund structuring or private label funds are a plus) paired with wealth management industry with in-depth knowledge of product landscape
  • Confident in dealings with sophisticated clients and able to present convincingly in front of senior management
  • An excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Passionate networker with a commercial mind-set coupled with sound negotiation skills
  • Motivated team player and truly service oriented
  • Interest in finance, portfolio analytics, and the application of technology in modern finance
  • Ability to handle complex situations and relationships, delivering against tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a high attention to detail
  • English (mother tongue or equivalent), any additional languages are a plus
