Meteorologist/Geographer | Part or Full Time | St. Gallen, Switzerland or Berlin, Germany

We are looking for meteorologically and technically enthusiastic colleagues for our sales team!

As 100 million Google Search results per year show, weather belongs to the top 5 Keywords being searched on Google in 2021. And there is a good reason for this! Weather can have a huge impact on all of our lives, both personally and professionally, so this is why, here at Meteomatics, we focus on processing and providing the most accurate weather data, and weather intelligence tools to improve our clients’ business across the world for all kind of industries.

To assist our sales team in either St. Gallen or Berlin, we’re looking for a meteorologist or geographer. Enough about us, though. Let’s talk about you!

Your Responsibilities
  • Connecting, acquisition of new customers, customer support in the sales area of responsibility
  • Management of the overall sales process for new and existing customers
  • Conferences and fairs, digital and on site
  • Offers, presentations and more negotiation and sales
  • Owner market and competition monitoring
  • Co-development of new guidelines adapted to future markets

Your Qualifications
  • Natural science or technical studies or comparable professional training
  • Meteorological knowledge or experience in the distribution of of meteorological products is nesessary
  • Experienced in business development in special regions or in special industries
  • Enjoy working in sales and maintaining customer relationships
  • Enthusiasm for new sales strategies and new markets
  • Accurate data entry skills, analytical abilities, excel skills and the ability to demonstrate initiative and work with minimal supervision
  • Pro-active, self-starter, great organizational skills including good time management skills
  • High willingness to travel
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written, other languages are an advantage
