My client is a rapidly growing, first-mover Swiss cannabis research and production company. They produce medical cannabis of the highest quality in a high-tech indoor cannabis production facility, which is distributed worldwide.

They are on the search for a strategic and experienced cannabis sales leader to join their team. This individual will work closely with company leadership to help develop & lead B2B and B2C sales strategy, sales, build a sales team, and drive revenue growth worldwide.

This role will require extensive travel across Europe, and global markets, to attend industry conferences and meet with potential and current clients.

Previous Cannabis sales experience is a MUST-have.

The role will be required to be onsite at the facility 2+ days/week. Relocation will be provided for the right candidate.

(Note: If EU Citizen: Must have Swiss Work Permit secured prior to signing employment contract)

Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee all business development efforts.
  • Develop a B2B medical Cannabis sales strategy.
  • Attend industry events and generate leads.
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
  • Manage client relations with both current and new clients.
  • Negotiation of contracts with potential customers.
  • Help to define, and meet, planned sales goals and KPIs.
  • Work closely with the marketing manager & team.
  • Support the selection and implementation of the CRM and oversee the management of leads and clients using the CRM.
  • Identify distribution opportunities by building and strengthening partnerships that maximize sales volume through distribution, visibility and service.
  • Effectively implement and manage a budget to increase sales volume and manage necessary sales expenses within the budget allocated.

Qualifications

  • Must have previous experience in B2B Cannabis Sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service.
  • Ability to lead a sales team.
  • Previous success in growing brand awareness and brand recognition within a given region, while using innovative strategies.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a regional sales manager, key account manager or territory manager.
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid Driver’s license.
  • Fluency in German AND English.
  • Ability to be onsite at the company facility 2+ days/week, and willingness to travel 60%+ to attend industry conferences and customers/clients across Europe.
