Salesforce is looking for a Sales Programs Manager to join our Sales Programs team in Switzerland.

The role will report into the Director of Business Operations for Switzerland, Central/Eastern Europe and Austria, and will work closely with our Swiss sales team, as well as all members of the Business Operations team across three core disciplines: sales strategy, analytics, and pipeline programs.

The Sales Programs role is an instrumental role, featuring a mix of Demand Generation planning, co-ordination, and execution based on Pipeline trending analysis, as well as engagement with the sales leadership as a key stakeholder.

Deliverables take the form of recommendations and ownership (initial phases) of the local Demand Generation plans, Campaign and Programs creation/execution, sales/marketing alignment, Sales enablement coordination, Innovation and Best Practice sharing. The successful candidate will regularly brief executives and own various cross-functional initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be

At ease working with sellers, sales managers, and the Swiss executive leadership team, as well as with Business strategy and operations stakeholders

Effectively partnering with the marketing team to guide the marketing execution of some campaigns, which require direct account executive (AE) contribution.

Responsible for a consolidated demand generation plan/calendar to meet defined seller pipeline generation targets, taking into account sales priorities for the region.

Responsible for creation and execution of seller programs and events including planning process, involving key stakeholders in business development, sales and sales management, aligning with marketing plans where possible.

Ensure full engagement of sales teams in relevant demand generation actions via ongoing communication and review of results, with full involvement in the Sales management team.

Own and be accountable for the regional Demand Generation board / pipeline council cadence and pipeline targets.

Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on pipeline trends and progression with a view to developing business through local Demand Generation boards.

Align Global and EMEA/International campaigns, promotions and messaging (industry and competitive) to targeted industries, segments and accounts.

Ensure full engagement of sales teams in relevant demand generation actions via ongoing communication and review of results.

Activities May Include

co-ordination of all contributors to sales program activities; delivering briefings, continuous improvement in contacts lists and content, reporting on results and successes, assessing effectiveness, recommending areas of improvement

Identifying and promoting best use of demand generation tools within sales teams, and sharing demand generation best practice across countries and segments.

Working with cluster/country marketing teams to guide the marketing execution of campaigns which require Sales contribution

Desired Experience

Experience in a similar role or consulting, business development, sales readiness, marketing or sales.

Proven track record in driving demand generation / campaigns / programs through and with senior field sales organization.

Strong networking, relationship-building, communication and influencing skills, must be able to engage with cross-functional virtual teams

Strong analytical and problem solving skills and quantitative approach to solving problems.

Proactive, creative and innovative thinker. Must be able to generate consistently new ideas for driving and supporting divisional priorities through Sales Programs.

Strong organizational ability, experienced in planning and managing a systematic approach to demand generation through sales teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful.

Highly collaborative style with strong influence skills

Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; sense of urgency

Strong accountability, reliability and a “company first” mentality

Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel required, Salesforce.com experience an advantage.

Fluent English required; other languages a plus (Swiss German, German, French preferred)
