Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct and help interpreting pharmacological studies in mice to characterize targets or therapeutic agents in the area of oncology and immuno-oncology
  • Responsible for the efficient planning, detailed analysis and accurate documentation of experiments
  • Develop and validate new animal models for oncology projects including related literature search
  • Perform surgeries including orthotopic and heterotopic cell implantation
  • Harvest and prepare biological samples (blood and tissues such as brain, liver, tumor)
  • Presentation of results in a multidisciplinary environment
Candidate’s Requirements
  • Scientific research associate in oncology pharmacology, BSc or MS degree is considered a plus; PhD will not be considered
  • At least 3 years of hands-on research experience in industry or academia
  • Strong in vivo experience in surgery, necropsy, breeding and drug administration
  • Hands-on experience with an advanced small animal radiation platform is considered a plus
  • Proficient in cell culture
  • Compliance with animal welfare regulations and formal qualification to carry out experimental animal work (LTK1 or equivalent)
  • Excellent data management and record-keeping skills
  • Scientifically curious, willingness to learn new techniques and skills
  • High flexibility, team player with motivation to work in a multicultural team
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
