Scientific Collaborator in Blockchain Infrastructure, at60%

for duration of 1 year, renewable

Over the past few years, AI and Blockchain have deeply revolutionized various fields including Cybersecurity, Fintech, e-health, and more. One of our projects, BLOCKUSTOM (blockustom.com) aims at utilizing both blockchain and AI to present and optimize a new data-sharing paradigm. With more and more people working remotely and privacy becoming a major concern, having a secure and efficient way of sharing data has become a necessity. Blockchain being a decentralized ledger emphasising cryptography obviously helps with data privacy, but the technology can suffer from major constraints that force users to stay with traditional storage solutions like file systems or distributed file systems. Are you interested in developing AI and Blockchain models? Do you want to join us on the exciting journey of transforming Cybersecurity/Fintech/E-health through high-impact research?

· The holder of this position will be responsible for:

"Sustainable detection and monitoring of user-threats and cyber-intrusions in web3-blockchain multiplex networks"

"Crowd-sourcing medical data-sharing based on customised incentive blockchain technology"

· Interpret research results, write reports and scientific publications

· Under the supervision of the professor, prepare requests for external funding (FNS, INNOSUISSE and/or other public or private funds) for carrying out research and/or providing services

Your profile:

· Holder of a Master / PhD in computer science, physics or mathematics

· 3+ years of experience applying Blockchain in practice, and end-to-end technology solutions

· Experience with scaling solutions such as Rollups and Sidechains

· Experience publishing in computer science and ML conferences

· Deep experience in Python/Java

· Ability to integrate into a team

· Flexibility, autonomy and sense of organization

· Good communication and writing skills in English

Particularité du poste :

· The function class for the position of scientific or artistic collaborator HES is a class 15 - annuity 4, for holders of a Master’s degree (or with a higher qualification)
