Our client is start-up Biotech company, working on a second-generation mRNA vaccine. The project is supported by an Innosuisse grant. For the laboratory in Zürich, we search aScientist for Novel mRNA Vaccine Research and Development
Your main responsabilities
- Work closely with collaborators to understand the mechanism of action of polymersome-mRNA vaccines, and optimize their stability as well as their immune response.
- Lead both intellectually and experimentally to advance a candidate vaccine through preclinical and, if successful, clinical development
- Independently design and execute experiments (in vitro and in vivo)
- Communicate results clearly with all parties involved and proactive interaction with multidisciplinary team
- PhD in immunology, cell biology or related fields
- Solid expertise in immunology assays including serum IgG ELISA, immune cell
- Ideally with hands-on experience with murine models and strong track record of
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
