The main responsibilities of the role as Tax Relief at Source Specialist include:
  • set up the relief at source service with internal departments and our custodians
  • perform the eligibility checks, handle all the controls and client documentation of the relief at source for various investment countries
  • work as a team on upcoming regulatory and process changes to ensure a timely and correct tax relief at source processing.
  • act as a senior matter expert against our stakeholders by executing our processes with timeliness and accuracy, ensuring the highest quality service delivery
  • Build common understanding by improving domain knowledge and stronger end-to-end process understanding, understand the risks associated with your business and function

Your team

You’ll be working in the Tax Relief at Source team in Zurich. We are responsible for the correct set up and documentation of our clients who have applied for the relief at source service. In addition we track and control upcoming mandatory corporate action events so that the relief at source processing is correctly accounted for. As a strong member of the team you will work closely with other GWM COO securities teams, our front office as well as with various custodians.

Your expertise

  • good banking expertise in Corporate Actions Income processing and Tax (Relief at Source will be an advantage)
  • proficient in English and German, both spoken and written
  • strong Excel as well as analytical and problem solving skills
  • quick learner, with attitude to responsibility and confident working as a team member
  • interest in digitalization and affinity with technology
  • strong communication skills, a high willingness to provide service and convince with your own initiative
