Tasks

  • Perform monthly, quarterly and yearly close activities in accordance with Swiss GAAP
  • Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
  • Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, systems and internal controls
  • Assist with client’s auditor requests
  • Management and training of junior team members and support them in regular activities such as vendor invoice processing, booking of bank accounts, reconciliation of accounts
  • Support the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes
  • Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
  • Perform variance analysis
  • Drive meeting with clients
Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ working experience in accounting, finance or controlling
  • Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
  • IFRS knowledge is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of ERP and excel
  • Good knowledge and recent experience with SAP (S4Hana is a strong plus)
  • Good oral and written communication in English and in French (German is a plus)
  • Ability to present complex analysis with clarity and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organisation
  • Ability to prioritise workload and ability to work to strict reporting deadlines
