In order to strengthen our finance team, we are looking for an accomplished accountant with experience in financial closing operations, Swiss payroll transactions and reconciliations in a manufacturing company. You are available at short notice, can quickly familiarize yourself with new processes and strengthen our team with your positive nature and fresh wind. We are filling this position for a limited period of one year.

You are responsible for
  • Responsible for month-, quarter and year-end closing as per SWISS GAAP FER as well as OR according to schedule
  • Conduct monthly salaries booking and reconciliations
  • Produce accounting and controlling reports, present the results and deliver summarized financial status
  • Participate in forecast and budget process
  • Responsible for tax compliance including assisting with tax audits and tax returns and ensure tax information are delivered according to deadline (i.e. company tax, MWST, INTRASTAT )
  • Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Your skills and abilities
  • 6+ years of proven experience in a similar position (Accountant), ideally in a manufacturing and international company
  • Federal diploma in finance and accounting (eidg. Fachausweis)
  • Experience working with SAP
  • Efficient, flexible and open minded person who is keen to learn new topics
  • Availability immediately
