More information about Seagen can be found at www.Seagen.comPosition SummaryThe Commercial International team located at our regional HQ in Zug, Switzerland, is leading the commercialization of Seagen cancer therapies via our affiliates outside of the United States and our distributor partners in Europe and other parts of the globe. You will be a positive and professional role model in the organization and possess strong decision-making skills, be forward-thinking and strategic, collaborative, and have a reputation for problem-solving and troubleshooting in a dynamic, evolving business environment.Principal Responsibilities
  • Primary support to the EVP, Commercial International, the VP, International Operations, and the functional heads within the Zug-based Commercial International team
  • In close collaboration with the Chief of Staff, Commercial International, responsible for creating and maintaining the department`s rhythm of the business through proactive planning and execution of administrative support to ensure a seamless experience for leadership and employees
  • Manage and maintain EVP & VP’s complex calendars on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure accurate scheduling and prioritization
  • Support functional heads with the scheduling of recurring meetings and/or ad hoc meetings for larger groups and/or participation of external stakeholders such as quarterly business reviews
  • Organize complex and extensive domestic and international travel, which requires assembling travel packets and arranging all travel logistics in collaboration with travel vendors for the team`s executive leaders
  • Support functional heads within the team for the organization of group travels
  • Act as primary liaison for Executive Assistants at global HQ and/or Office Managers at the affiliate offices and assist with Europe travel planning for visiting executives
  • Responsible for the flawless planning and execution of the on-site and off-site meetings and events hosted by the Commercial International team. Manage and coordinate all meeting logistics including the arranging of accommodation, transportation, catering/AV needs, dinners etc.
  • Proposes process improvements and collaborates with internal clients and administrative colleagues on process improvement projects as needed
  • Back-up to other Zug-based Administrative Assistants as needed (e.g. holiday coverage)
  • Establish and execute administrative procedures for the team staying within corporate policy
  • Go-to-person for questions regarding department and corporate procedure
  • May monitor budgets (for specific themes) and manage expenses in compliance with company policy; review and approve invoices. Also includes timely preparation of travel expense reports for executive leaders
  • Assist functional heads with the facilitation of the source-to-settle process (PO creation, contracting etc.) in line with corporate procedure as needed in day-to-day operations
  • Assist company directors with coordination for signature of legal documents as needed
Qualifications
  • 7+ years in an administrative role supporting senior management in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
  • Background in Life Sciences (emphasis: Pharmaceuticals and Biotech) preferred
  • College degree preferred but will consider high school diploma with comparable work experience
  • Ability to apply knowledge of the business and integrate into daily tasks to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional activities
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills are required
  • Well organized, flexible, and enthused by the administrative challenges of supporting a team of colleagues with diverse backgrounds and working styles
  • Demonstrates and role models confidence, emotional intelligence, and professionalism
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail when working with complex schedules or projects and react with an appropriate sense of urgency to situations or events that require a quick response or turnaround
  • Ability to independently problem-solve to maintain business continuity
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work well under pressure; ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • The desire to learn and grow with the business
  • Able to work successfully in a team environment by building effective working relationships internally and externally across all levels of employees

  • Highly proficient in MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in SAP Concur considered a plus
  • Fluency in English; fluency in German considered a plus
