Senior Application Manager & Business Analyst (f/m)

What you will do
  • Be part of a dedicated team which manages IT applications for energy business
  • Manage our software application for power position management which is used to combine energy trading and power plant optimization
  • Act as Scrum Product Owner within an external software companies scrum team
  • Gather business requirements, propose solutions, coordinate the decision process and control implementation and release
  • Specify the strategy of the applications and coordinate between business stakeholders, developers, software vendor and hardware provider
  • Be an expert for system critical processes in the context of the Swiss power grid and international energy markets
  • Show your sense of responsibility and team player attitude
  • Be part of the 24/7 support team
What you bring & who you are
  • Bachelor or Master in IT, Engineering, or similar
  • At least 5-10 years of work experience as an application owner or similar
  • Experience as Scrum Product Owner preferred
  • Programming skills (any language) preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and business processes
  • Work experience in the energy sector (especially with energy data) is preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English and German is a must
