Within the Quality Control (QC) department, we seek a dedicated personality to strengthen the Device Methods Laboratory (DML), which supports the QC in life cycle management of combination products, primary containers and secondary packaging such as handling and resolution of global product quality complaints and commercially oriented tasks with combination products.

The DML is a unique group within Janssen responsible for the end-to-end development and testing of combination products, primary containers, and secondary packaging. Our wide range of responsibilities spans across early and late stages of clinical development as well as include product life cycle management such as the handling and resolution of global product quality complaints.

Working in an international, dynamic and diverse team of people you are responsible for the functional characterization and testing of primary containers, parenteral drug delivery systems and combination products in accordance with cGMP. In addition, you serve as analytical subject matter expert during device investigations and handling of complaints and maintain close interaction with business stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities
  • Coordination and performance of device-related root cause investigations and troubleshooting as well as handling of customer complaints by means of functional and physical characterization (e.g., tensile testing, dimensional testing, X-ray analysis)
  • Planning, coordination and execution of visual and functional testing of devices and combination products based on optical methodologies and tensile/compression and torque technology
  • Device production/assembly line support
  • Interaction in cross-functional teams
  • Evaluation and documentation of analytical test results and self-dependent report writing
  • Preparation and update of standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Support of maintenance and qualification of analytical instruments
