About This Role

Reporting to the Global Head of ERP and PLM, the Senior BA, Global Supply Chain ERP is a key Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Biogen’s Global Supply Chain ERP systems. You will be accountable for the technical implementation and operation of Oracle EBS Supply Chain and Oracle Process Manufacturing systems and the ancillary integrations. This is a highly visible and hands-on role that is the primary contact between Global Supply Chain IT, local IT and business units.

What You’ll Do

• Techno/Functional Leadership – the go-to SME for Global Supply Chain Oracle EBS systems and integrations; proactively identify business challenges and system issues; research, define and champion business driven solutions.
• Application Support – 3rd line support for Global Supply Chain ERP systems and integrations; takes hands-on ownership of level 3 support issues and coaches 2nd line support and business users to eliminate recurring issues
• People Management – actively manage internal, matrixed and vendor teams to ensure that all business operational requirements and SLAs are met
• Continuous Improvement (CI) – identify CI initiatives through the management of operational metrics, KPIs and SLAs & drive these CIs to completion through standard software development lifecycle / change control processes
• System Lifecycle Management – manages business requirements and, collaborating with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and IT Systems Owners, shape the roadmaps for system development and stabilization
• Stakeholder management – effectively builds and manages relationships to ensure that business objectives are met, the stakeholders range from global to local in business, cross functional IT and vendor teams
• Vendor Management – oversee the overall performance of the Oracle EBS Managed Service Provider on a day-to-day basis
  

Who You Are

You are an operational and solution-oriented person who enjoys the ever-changing and fast paced environment of a state-of-the-art Bio-Manufacturing Plant! You have a solid techno/functional background with broad experience of Oracle EBS Supply Chain (OM, Inventory, BOM, PO), Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM), OPM Quality, Warehouse Management (WMS) applications coupled with exceptional customer service skills. You love rolling up your sleeves to unlock business value by driving IT solutions to optimize the implementation of Oracle ERP, bolt-on applications, and integrated systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science and/or related discipline.
• 10+ years of professional experience with Oracle EBS (R12 preferred) and peripheral applications such as WMS, Mobile Supply Chain, ASCP, and Demantra.
• 5-7+ years’ experience of managing large matrixed teams in a global support environment – demonstrable customer service excellence experience
• Experience in one or more leading Service Desk Applications (e.g. Service Now) in a level 3 support role
• Understanding of the Oracle ERP technical architecture and some of the common integrations such as Manufacturing Execution System (MES), 3rd parties such as 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) or Contracting Manufacturing Organizations (CMO)
• Operational and support knowledge of Oracle EBS Supply Chain (OM, Inventory, COM, PO) OPM, OPM Quality and WMS.
• Demonstrate successful technical leadership, collaborative problem solving and conflict resolution skills in ambiguous situations
  

Preferred Skills

• Prior expertise in one or more of the business processes – Process Manufacturing, Procure-to-pay (PTP), Plan-to-Make (PTM) or Order-to-Cash (OTC)
• ITIL qualified
• Experience in manufacturing or warehousing GxP (Pharma or Medical Device) operations.
