PurposeThis role is part of the Group Functions Finance team supporting Supply Chain Management. The general purpose is to be a financial consultant by giving recommendations to enable and drive fact-based decision-making. These functions support and steer the business to achieve financial and operational targets as well as the defined long-term strategy. This is supported by the creation of transparency about business performance, analyzing & benchmarking, developing scenario planning and business cases, providing insights and making recommendations.
Key Accountabilities
Global Performance Management
- Understand key cost drivers and provide E2E Supply Chain visibility for business partners (inbound to outbound) to drive improvements / actions.
- Work closely with the market teams to ensure transparency, consistency and high-quality results. Drive harmonization and standardization of data sets while driving best in class delivery in terms of timelines and data quality.
- Develop a sustainable management reporting system to support business in monitoring operational performance on a regular basis. Analyze facts (past performance) and translate to recommendation / solution (prediction) which will help SCM management to make sound business decisions.
- Provide financial support and day-to-day controlling work for Global Supply Planning.
- Support the business and supervisor within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Implement adequate and aligned communication packages to present results, recommendations and solutions.
- Provide inputs for global reporting packages about the assigned area of responsibility
- Perform the preparation and presentation of Budget and Forecast results for the area of responsibility.
- Execute the monthly closure for the assigned SCM area of responsibility.
- Execute and interpret variance analysis.
- Optimize standardized reporting in cooperation with GBS and execute ad-hoc analysis.
- Provide expertise for assigned functional areas/systems and processes towards team and business partners.
- Keep documentations and training material up-to-date.
- Provide insights during project design phase (e.g. Respond) and manage business case development for Global Supply Planning projects.

- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Good analytical skills, managing large data quantities from multiple sources
- System expertise: SAP, Microsoft Office, Access, general system understanding
- Strong competence with various tools, procedures, etc.
- University degree in Business Administration/Finance/ Controlling
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience
