For our client in Zurich, Modis is currently looking for a Senior C# / .NET Developer.



General Information:

  • Location: Zürich, Switzerland
  • Type of employment: temporary
  • Start date: March or April 2023
  • Workload: 100%, 40 hours per week


Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing and testing software solutions in the area of production, lifecycle management and trading financial instruments
  • Collaborating closely with the development teams and business in an agile environment
  • Support of the project in particular by:
    • Software development and support for the team, SST/ST/ENG/Software Engineering according to indstructions
    • A minimum weekly discussion and agreement on progress, the expenditure incurred and next steps with the stream manager, and in their absence, with the project manager. This shall also include recording the expenditure incurred in VERTEC and tracking the assigned tasks in JIRA.
    • Coordination and discussion and agreement with the other project streams (especially integration).
  • Guaranteeing flawless application operation
  • Taking on support tasks (2nd and 3rd level)


Qualifications:

  • Solid software development skills in C#
  • Good understanding of web environment (HTTP request/response, state management, caching)
  • Experience with modern application lif ecycle management tools (Git, Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code)
  • Preferred: Knowledge of structured products, knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Elasticsearch, Openshift, RabbitMq, Kafka
  • Very keen on new technologies
  • Willing to engage in a changing and flexible environment, with the ability to question the status quo
  • Fluent in English, all other languages like German are a plus
