Your role

Are you looking for a new challenge in an interesting and dynamic international environment? Do you know how to maintain independence and objectivity? Then you might be our new Global Wealth Management Compliance Officer, as we are looking for an enthusiastic team member with relevant experience who will:

  • provide front-to-back compliance advice for the Business and assume responsibility to ensure compliance with current legal and regulatory standards
  • review, investigate and report sensitive cases with regard to financial crime, money laundering, regulatory and reputational risks
  • engage in and advise Management on risk assessments and strategic Business initiatives
  • support with preparation of data requests for regulatory reviews
  • participate in reviewing new business initiatives and advise on complex transactions

Your team

You will be working in the Global Wealth Management Compliance team based in Zurich and will collaborate with colleagues around the globe. Our team covers international clientele in booking center Switzerland as well as in relevant onshore locations.

Your expertise

  • master degree preferably in Economics, Law, Finance or Audit
  • at least 3 years of professional experience in a holistic compliance, risk or cross-border role, or other practical white-collar crime or investigative experience with a law or audit firm or regulator
  • detailed knowledge of the key principles of Swiss AML regulations and laws
  • ability to deliver to tight deadlines, to independently identify and assess financial crime ‘red flags’ and confidently communicate final decisions to management and front office staff
  • a flair for IT applications and a willingness to embrace our new digital future
  • strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to formulate and articulate clear guidance to internal stakeholders
  • resilient and comfortable to work independently as well as collaborating in a team
