Your field of responsibility


Join us in an exciting position as Coverage Compliance Officer for the Investment Strategy & Research in Zurich. Provide compliance advice and subject matter expertise on topics related to financial research, macroeconomic and investment strategy publications. Perform regular and ad-hoc compliance risk assessments as an independent function, monitor business activities and conduct other topical reviews in order to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures. Mitigate risk through ongoing formalization of compliance processes while maintaining a solid understanding of local and international regulatory requirements (e.g. MiFID, MAR, SBA Directives on the Independence of Financial Research, cross border business requirements). Working in a fast-paced environment, the role offers a strategic opportunity to make a significant contribution to the risk and compliance landscape of high-profile initiatives and projects as well as to build up a broad, cross-functional network.

Your skills and experience


We are seeking to complement our team with someone who has an independent mind-set, strong communication skills and the dedication to perform in a versatile role. To thrive within this role it requires the following:

  • A university degree in law, economics or an equivalent education
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in a legal, compliance, consulting, risk management or related function within the financial services industry, combined with a strong focus on financial research
  • In-depth understanding of financial investment products in addition to an affinity for regulatory and legal aspects, as well as expertise in Financial Research related topics
  • Business proficiency in English is a requirement. German or any other language skills are an asset
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills in combination with a reliable, detailed working style and a positive can-do attitude
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements is considered as a strong asset (Fidleg, Mifid, MAR etc.)
  • Ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment, and exhibit a high degree of flexibility and creativity combined with a technical affinity
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
