We are looking for a Senior Corporate Sustainability Manager to join our Group Sustainability/ESG team, who is experienced in driving a company’s sustainability strategy and performance, who likes working in cross-functional teams and in an international environment, and who is a strong project manager with curiosity for new developments in the field of corporate sustainability.

In this role, you will contribute to implementing and further developing our ESG strategy “intACT” through specific initiatives and projects across Sonova globally. You will directly report to the Director Corporate Responsibility & Branding.

Your tasks

  • Lead or support cross-functional projects and initiatives in alignment with Sonova’s ESG strategy (e.g. human rights due diligence, supplier risk assessments)
  • Lead ESG materiality assessment process in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the implementation, monitoring, and further development of Sonova’s ESG strategy
  • Provide internal ESG advisory and thought leadership and prepare presentations for senior management
  • Monitor ESG trends as well as developments in relevant global ESG regulations and initiate actions
  • Act as deputy for the Head of Sustainability/ESG

Your profile

  • University degree in sustainability, business administration or related field
  • Further studies complementary to basic education, e.g. in environmental sciences, supply chain management, project management or specific ESG topics
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate sustainability or consultant role
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation and create buy-in
  • Knowledge of latest trends and regulatory developments in the field of ESG
  • Excellent analytical skills and data-driven mindset
  • Excellent English and German skills, both written and spoken
