GSCF offers innovative SCF solutions to leading banks, non-bank investors, large suppliers, and their buyers through its in-house developed platform.

To support the growth and development of our team we are looking for a motivated and experienced:

Senior Credit Officer

Tasks
  • Management of credit requests, credit analysis and reports
  • Preparation of appropriate credit analyses and present to the credit committee
  • Providing credit recommendation to Business Development and Structuring teams
  • Monitoring and identification of credit risks and development of adequate risk mitigation plan
  • Preparation of periodic credit reviews, credit limit requests and portfolio overviews
  • Ongoing support of the Management in identifying and managing credit risks
  • Promote an integrated team and share knowledge, experience and best practices
  • Promote a strong risk culture within the team
  • Establish guidelines, develop policies and create procedures
  • Develop and formulate an appropriate strategy, considering the goals of the various stakeholders
  • Recommend enhancement of credit policies and procedures as required
  • Maintain a keen awareness of the activities, trends of the various stakeholders within the SCF industry


Requirements
  • Higher education in either Banking, Finance or Business Administration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Credit Officer in an International Corporation or a Financial Institution with credit authority and credit origination
  • Excellent command of English (written and oral) any other language would be of benefit
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Senior, engaged, flexible and open-minded personality who can operate successfully in a dynamic and international environment
  • Detail oriented, well organized self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Strong skills in prioritization and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills combined with an ability to apply these in a practical and balanced manner

This individual will be a knowledgeable and experienced person who has the strategic vision to provide direction for the Bank’s lending and credit activities, while at the same time,
a demonstrated track record of tangible operational initiatives that have served to enhance their institutions’ policies, procedures and risk disciplines.

Qualified candidates should have thorough knowledge of broader bank enterprise operations and control systems as well as in-depth knowledge of credit and credit operations. Strengths include proficiency in the use of advanced quantitative tools and techniques such as credit scoring, financial forecasting, modelling and the use of economic capital methodologies and the risk analytic techniques used in sophisticated portfolio management.
