Your field of responsibility


You will support second line of defense oversight over industry risk accumulations in the Group credit portfolio. You will help facilitate a culture of industry-specific portfolio analysis, steer the portfolio away from undue industry risk concentrations, and contribute to a transparent and systematic industry risk appetite framework. You will monitor industry risk, facilitate risk dialogue on specific industries across the bank, analyze risks to industry portfolios, and contribute to risk management recommendations. You will support strong awareness of industry risk at senior management level and across divisions through presence in industry dialogues, senior committees, and senior management reporting.

The Global Credit Portfolio Management team provides second line of defense oversight to the constituent credit risks in the Group’s credit portfolio across single name, industry, product, rating and country. You will become an integral part of our growing and dynamic team, which has a physical presence in Europe and collaborates closely with other functions across the globe. Your future team colleagues have a variety of professional backgrounds, from credit risk management to data science, and value diversity in skill sets and experience.

Your skills and experience
  • You are an experienced fundamental credit risk analyst who can engage in dialogue on industry credit risk trends and relevance to the Group portfolio.
  • Completed University degree (bachelors/master) degree in a relevant subject (e.g Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting) or equivalent
  • 7-10 years’ experience in analyzing credit risk on the counterparty, portfolio, or transactional level
  • Credit risk officer and/or rating agency background is strongly preferred
  • Expertise in non-financial corporates is strongly preferred, some additional expertise in FIs is a plus
  • Experience in evaluating the risk and return characteristics of credit exposure is a plus
  • Understanding of credit risk frameworks and associated metrics and controls is strongly preferred
  • Willingness to dig deep into industry risk topics and industry risk portfolios, and to cultivate specialist networks and good cross-functional engagement on the topic of industry risk
  • You combine analytical and problem solving skills, can explain sophisticated concepts in an accessible way, and have excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
