We are the Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team- a fast-growing Engineering team of customer obsessed & passionate individuals based across EMEA that drive positive customer outcomes and experiences in an online delivery model. FastTrack for Azure (FTA) is a customer success service to help customers confidently onboard to Azure and getting them on the right track to “build it right, architect it right, the first time”. FastTrack for Azure takes a solution-centric approach and provides customers with Engineering resources, best practices, tools and resources that drive Azure usage.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a sharp, analytical, and high-energy Azure Engineer with broad experience in Azure and specializing in designing and migrating Data solutions.

In this role, you will form the core team within FTA and be instrumental in driving FTA Data Services expansion across multiple Azure Data solutions.

Areas Of Responsibility Include
  • Directly engage with customers and partners to validate new designed Data Solution and existing Solutions for migration;
  • Accelerate the customers’ project;
  • Provide knowledge and insight to build the customers’ confidence.
  • Drive product improvement by capturing product-related feedback that the relevant Product teams can triage.

Qualifications
  • Data Architecture on Azure PaaS services in the Data Solution space
  • Azure Data Migration tooling experience - Experience with DMS/DMA, Databricks, SQLDB and MI
  • Relevant Database experience: MySQL, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB, SQLDB, and SQL MI
  • Experience in using Azure Storage, Virtual Networks, Virtual Machines
  • An understanding of Azure fundamentals, such as Governance, Security & Monitoring
  • Experience working with enterprise customers on Azure specific data solutions, application development, and deployment
  • Understanding of how to define and align the correct architecture to the customers long term vision and success criteria
  • Strong communication skills to effectively drive recommendations and land priorities across customers, partners, senior executives and across organizational boundaries, lead projects, and motivate others
  • Consulting and/or Delivery Experience
  • Fluency in English, an additional language will be advantageous

Additional Desirable Experience
  • Familiarity with Azure Arc for Data Services
  • Experience on migrating Oracle or OSSDB to cloud
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes
  • Familiarity on some of the following Azure services with Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake V2, Azure Purview, and Power BI / Azure Analysis Services
