The Sr. Demand Planning Manager, is accountable for the Commercial Fire EMEA SIOP process (Sales, Inventory, Operation Planning) along with demand and asset planning team to successfully meet customer requirements and operation business objectives within Honeywell Building Technologies. You will have significant authority in demand forecasting and responsible for all demand management results for the business. You will drive functional excellence, process maturity, and continuous improvement. You will provide leadership to teams that include senior leaders. You are accountable for and lead multiple, highly complex global projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a best practice standardized across critical elements of the SIOP process: Portfolio Management, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Reconciliation activities
  • Own SIOP classification, Demand Forecast Accuracy, and SIOP Maturity improvement
  • Drive businesses to identify aggressive targets and robust plans to support the achievement of Portfolio & Demand Management metrics (MAPE, SKU rationalization etc.) as well as Inventory targets, OTTR/OTFP metrics, and Past Dues
  • Support the businesses in the ongoing monitoring and achievement of these targets
Attend BU / LOB Portfolio, Demand and Supply Reviews as well as Reconciliation to observe process, content, and scope. Provide direction and mentoring to the functional team on process development opportunities both online & offline
  • Lead monthly Executive SIOP meeting; partner with relevant stakeholders to prepare meeting deliverables and present to executive leadership on monthly basis
  • Mentor & coach the Demand Planning team to implement a robust MOS to support the build of a comprehensive demand plan in readiness for the Demand Review
  • Support the optimized usage of planning software (i.e., Rapid Response) - statistical forecast model selection and adoption based on material groupings with similar characteristics (e.g. SIOP classification)
  • Ensure regular communications with the Demand Planning team members to support the standardization, best practice and metric achievement drive
  • Provide required training (in person & virtual) to support the appropriate sponsorship from the key stakeholders throughout the SIOP process
  • 20% Travel required


YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in Finance, Demand Planning or Supply Chain
  • 5+ years’ experience working in a global, matrixed organization
