Read more careers.bms.com/working-with-usPosition SummaryThe Senior Director of Global Delivery Excellence is responsible for advancing and managing digital and process solutions to support the seamless delivery of product on a global scale and overseeing the development and operation of centralized transportation and logistics hub.Key Responsibilities
  • Global Process Owner for Global Delivery Systems (GDS) supporting the advancement of digital and process solutions across all aspects of drug delivery and logistics
  • Work in partnership with GDS Leadership Team and other stakeholders to develop and deliver on the overall process and digital strategic priorities for the Global Delivery Systems organization, including strategies for Transportation, Logistics, Distribution, and all other aspects of global drug delivery,  Collaborate closely with other functions in developing and executing major strategic initiatives
  • With GDS LT, define Transportation and Logistics digital and process control strategy and manage any external resources required for system integration
  • Lead the application of data and technologies including but not limited to ERP systems cloud computing, cogitative computing, advanced analytics, machine learning to enhance supply chain business processes for GDS and associated areas of global supply chain. (for example logistics optimization, distribution planning and optimization, real-time in-market inventory planning)
  • Lead PDE Delivery Excellence team in coordination with IT and SBE groups in the delivery of GDS strategic imperatives including developing and implementing strategies to optimize the flow of goods and materials within the network. Monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics, such as on-time delivery and vehicle utilization
  • Champion the deployment of successful digital or data initiatives on-time, on-budget and ensure value-drivers are delivered and sustain including leading business process impact assessment, end-user training, coordination of system testing
  • Sustains digital and data technologies by championing super-user groups. Identifies, designs and generates standards to promote efficiencies for end-users of supply chain data and digital technologies. Identify and share best-practices
  • Seeks to automate and simplify repetitive tasks, promoting operational excellence, process standardization and harmonization where appropriate
  • Focuses on building talent and expertise within the team

  • Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, business, data science or information systems with a Masters or MBA preferred.
  • 10 + years of experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, ERP, digital / data technologies, quality in the biopharma industry
  • Operational excellence experience ( Master Black belt, black belt or equivalent) required
  • Proven ability to develop and lead global teams
  • Ability to navigate organization, and identify, align and integrate cross-functional resources into cohesive teams in a highly matrixed environment; ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated supply chain acumen and experience implementing enterprise technology or data systems including change management
  • Proven ability to identify innovative ideas through deployment that optimize processes / create value
  • Excellent written & verbal communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; organized and able to prioritize program execution activities to meet multiple deadlines
  • Business acumen to develop meaningful business cases
