About the successful applicant:You are a master of targeted demand generation, with expert knowledge of all of the latest tools, tactics and trends. You are scrappy, pragmatic and extremely fast moving. A masterful executor, who focuses on getting things done. Your background is in B2B Marketing, selling software into Large Enterprise. You have experience doing this in both the DACH and US markets. You value being measured on qualified pipeline creation, which scales the business.

Major areas of responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute high quality Demand Generation plans for Europe and the US, ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term objectives; managing the different competencies within the Starmind Marketing Team.
  • Work with marketing team to implement marketing; prioritize initiatives based on pain points (such as inbound and content marketing), value creation potential, and customers’ strategic priorities
  • Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts customers (including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.)
  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by increasing and converting website traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content
  • Optimize marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through content and social channels
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with New Business Sales and Sales Development to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers
  • Lead and motivate marketing to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing team

Experience & Skills:

  • University degree in business administration, marketing or relevant field (especially, strategic marketing, digital marketing and consumer behavior strategies, marketing management or market research); MSc/MA/MBA is preferable
  • Experience as manager/director/VP in marketing, preferably within software or tech firm,
  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies
  • Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management
  • Ability to plan, direct and coordinate marketing budgets in accordance to organizational goals
  • Deep understanding of changing market dynamics
  • Strong inclination or expertise to technology and enterprise software industry
  • Broad network with other marketing professionals
  • Exceptional analytical and reporting skills; experience creating board-level reporting a big plus
  • Experience as the accountable person within a Leadership Team
  • Fluency in English (German is a significant plus)
