This Senior Finance Analyst will be responsible for managing the AGP Tool, using this technology to provide robust Sales and AGP analysis for MedTech.This position operates in a dynamic global environment with exposure to Supply Chain, Business Unit Finance, Commercial, FP&A and Group Finance. The role requires strong analytical and business partnering skills, navigating through the complex supply chain process.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities and scope of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Lead the As Reported v Addback reconciliation process, partnering with SC BUF, Currency COE, Commercial & Group Finance to support the alignment and reporting of Management & Systems P&L
  • Embed the AGP Tool forecasting capabilities & values into the SC BUF forecasting process as well as managing the hand off of the AGP forecast for each cycle
  • Volume & Mix calculation and analysis based on the AGP Tool output, provide business insight/drivers of the variances
  • Be an engaged and valued member of the PIC CoE project teams, in particular the Demand Plan v Commercial project & As Reported v’s Addback reconciliation project
  • Provide training on various topics - Management & Systems GP as well as AGP Tool functionality
  • Become a trusted SC business partner for the Commercial Regions, FP&A and Group Finance to drive alignment in planning and reporting process.
  • Champion continuous process improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices
  • Using the Agile Scrum methodology, work with IT Support & Development teams to scope, develop & test current and new user’s stories and imbed these into the Production environment.
  • Provide Ad hoc Sales & AGP reporting and analytics on request using the Tableau Self Service functionality in the tool.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor and/or master’s degree in Finance or equivalent is required
  • Recognized professional accounting qualification is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Supply chain finance experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage
  • Excellent in analytical work, communication, framing and business partnering skills
  • Comfortable dealing with complexity, with the right attention for detail but without losing the bigger picture
  • Strong technical skills with ability to work with IT concepts and tools – Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, data extraction and consolidation & master data maintenance
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Proactive approach with a demonstrated record of driving continuous improvements in a dynamic environment
  • Good interpersonal skills, natural in networking within Finance and across Supply Chain teams
  • Eager to take initiatives for improvements
  • Accuracy with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong customer focus with excellent communication & presentation skills
