Overview

Janssen Business Services (JBS) belongs to the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. JBS Finance has associates located in Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland, The Netherlands, US and Singapore.

Our mission is to provide stewardship of the Janssen business model, by protecting and optimizing the intellectual property (IP) structure, through cross functional collaborations.

We are a team of all-round finance professionals with special focus on technical finance capabilities, centers of excellence, campus support services, and strategic business partnering.

Main Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for the principal controlling activities related to the Gross Profit, Inventory, OPEX and tax (actual and planning)
  • Coordinate and lead the actuals and forecasting process for IC Sales and OCNIS ensuring financial and SOX compliance
  • Lead the standard costing activities for the Swiss Principal Companies
  • Anticipate business risks and opportunities with an impact on P&L and/or Cash flow
  • Support the reconciliation of Actelion product global gross profit
  • Support/lead the setup of new products flows
  • Lead the preparation of the BVA analyses in the area of responsibility for management as well as auditing purposes
  • Closely partner with the rest of the JBS functions, R&D, Supply Chain, local CTC, Pharm tax planning and corporate consolidation teams
  • Significant involvement in various projects such as SigniFi and other initiatives from an operational perspective
  • Closely monitor special financial concepts related to the acquisition of Actelion (Contingent Liability, Comparability to Deal Model)
  • Lead a team of 8 people

Qualifications
  • University degree in finance/economics (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong technical accounting expertise and functional knowledge (GAAP, Supply Chain, Commercial) is a plus
  • Ability to influence/impact decisions, collaborate and build trust amongst senior business leaders, direct reports and finance colleagues
  • Ability to lead an organization through change while maintaining day-to-day operations
  • Self-motivated, capacity to work with autonomy managing high levels of complexity in a regional and virtual environment
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
  • Strong eagerness to maintain and improve processes in a dynamic environment with a focus on automation and use of Digital technologies
  • Controlled risk-taking capacity
  • Very advanced stress control and high sense of urgency
