As a Food Packaging Paper Specialist, you will deliver recyclable paper packaging solutions which fit to strategic objectives of company, specifically on the reducing environmental impacts and food waste, improving end-of-life scenario, and consumer functionality. You will enable active knowledge sharing and expertise development in specific fields of packaging.

A day in the life of a Food Packaging Paper Specialist

  • Develop external collaborations, build and maintain relationships with key partners and suppliers
  • Lead the technology platform for the area of expertise. Ensure mastery of core technologies
  • Proactively deploy expert knowledge in R&D projects
  • Provide effective and sustainable packaging solutions using Best-In-Class standards and specifications
  • Actively participate in Expert Networks. Share knowledge and create networks with other communities of experts internally and externally

What Will Make You Successful
  • PhD in Paper/Packaging Technology/Science/Engineering or related subject
  • High knowledge in barrier coating technologies on paper-based substrates
  • Expertise in paper converting technologies
  • Strong understanding of paper recyclability criteria
  • Recognized expertise across and outside the company
  • 5 years experience in Industry experience within paper-based packaging
  • 2 years Internal experience within R&D :
  • participated actively in formal network activities
  • good understanding of operational set-up
  • able to integrate business context into activity
  • Fluent in English
