Founded in 2006 by Sonova Group, the Hear the World Foundation (HTWF) supports projects around the world in low- and middle-income countries to give children access to audiological care. We are looking for a Senior Fundraising and Relationship Manager to build and implement the fundraising strategy of the Hear the World Foundation. The role will lead fundraising efforts for major donors and mid-level donors to maximize external financial support for the foundation. The ultimate goal is to attract, inspire and manage donors to support our cause in order to scale the foundation’s donation budget, ambitions and programming impact. Additionally, the role will identify and manage funding collaborations with other organizations. You will be reporting directly to the Director Hear the World Foundation and responsible for the following tasks:

Your tasks

  • Lead conceptualization and implementation of the fundraising strategy of the foundation to achieve continuous and sustainable funding
  • Define digital donor journeys (with offline touchpoints) based on CRM system and with defined communication needs
  • Responsible for annual fundraising planning process with income targets based on donor funnel
  • Sparring partner to Director in strategic alignment with the Hear the World Foundation (HTWF) strategy and priority setting
  • Identify, research and acquire new major and mid-level donors
  • Build a stable demand generation process to identify future prospects
  • Develop and implement activation, reactivation and retention programs for donors (on- and offline)
  • Work closely with Communication and Branding Manger on dedicated fundraising communication activities (on-and offline), actively propose content ideas and channels for defined target groups to generate leads and revenues
  • Planning, implementation and monitoring of fundraising campaigns among donors, consumers and employees (on- and offline)
  • Analysis, evaluation and preparation of donation statistics and lead on fundraising financial reports
  • Identify and develop funding collaborations with other organizations
  • Manage collaboration setup and partnerships

Your profile

  • Degree in Business Management / Development, Marketing, Communication or in a related field
  • Further education in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and/or work experience in fundraising and customer relationship management
  • At least 10 years work experience in a similar role preferably in large international/non-profit organizations
  • Experience working in a foundation and prior engagement in international development is desirable
  • Excellent fundraising skills and Salesforce (or other CRM system) experience is a must
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • You are a strong Networker within and outside the company and you are able to build strong relationships
  • Proficient in English and German both written and spoken
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen sensitivity and understanding paired with a can do mind-set, a high-level of self-management and proactivity
  • Ability to engage with and manage senior executives and high-net worth individuals (HNI)
