Job Description

The Senior HR Analyst - SAP SuccessFactors will help drive our HR digital transformation and the overall optimization of our Enterprise HR Technology Eco-system in alignment with our multi-year HR Technology strategy and roadmap. The HR Senior Analyst’s primary purpose is to provide support in the design, configuration, implementation, communication, maintenance support and enhancement of our SAP SuccessFactors platform. This includes multiple modules of SuccessFactors and processes such as Performance & Goals, Compensation, Succession/Development, Continuous Performance, Reporting, Mobile and to come Recruiting and Employee Central (EC).

Tasks
  • Responsible for supporting the configuration, maintenance, operation, and ongoing administration of our SuccessFactors Platform in close collaboration with the IT HRIS Team.
  • Acts as the Straumann group-wide system administrator for all SuccessFactors modules incl. Employee Central together with the IT HRIS counterpart
  • Configuration, testing, training and support of recurring HR annual cycles (e.g. Annual Compensation Review, Performance Review, etc.) in close collaboration with the HR Clouds
  • Work closely with HR and IT team and be responsible for design, creation, and management of reports and dashboards specific in the SAP SuccessFactors suite to support management in the areas of workforce analytics as well as required compliance reporting
  • Monitors and evaluates new functionalities and features of the semi-annual SuccessFactors releases and makes recommendations on which features to implement to enhance user experience and drive optimization of the platform
  • Provides day-to-day 2nd level systems support including troubleshooting data and system issues to the HR Tech and wider HR Community (incl. partnering with 3rd party suppliers as needed for system maintenance/support/troubleshooting/implementation).
  • Identifies training needs and provides technical system training incl. user training manuals to HR Tech Community and/or wider HR Community (train-the-trainer) and if needed to end-users (only HQ) on proper use and full potential usage of the SuccessFactors Platform
  • Troubleshoot system and/or integration issues from SuccessFactors to downstream systems and modules in close collaboration with our IT HRIS team (incl. planned system downtime)

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources or other related field
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on system administration experience with SuccessFactors (modules: PM/GM incl. Continuous Performance, Compensation, Development, Succession) including full systems configuration, release management, requirements gathering, testing and end-user documentation and training is a must.
  • Sound experience/knowledge around SuccessFactors EC and Recruiting implementation, EC integration with SF modules and other HRIS application and SF Analytics/SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Good understanding of Hire - 2 - Retire lifecycle HR processes and the required administration
  • Effective project management skills; i.e. ability to initiate, plan and lead/drive priorities and smaller projects
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel (e.g. the ability to query, run reports, sort data and analyze results, comfortable doing macros, VLOOKUP’s, and pivot tables)
  • Must have a solid understanding of data security practices and applicable laws
  • Systems thinking mindset with a strong bias towards User Experience
  • Experience working with vendors and 3rd party solutions
  • Strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills to influence and guide colleagues across the globe
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with limited guidance
  • Fluency in written and verbal English is a must; any other language is a plus

This position reports to the Head of Global HR Technology & Analytics and is based at the Corporate Headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.
