Senior Investor Relations Officer, Electrification E-Mobility

As part of ABB E-mobility’s strategic growth ambitions it is planned to move the business into a stand-alone legal structure and potentially list the company via an IPO (Initial Public Offering) on a leading stock exchange. A senior Investor Relations Officer is required in order to support the IPO process and manage on-going relationships with investors, regulators and key stakeholders. The Senior Investor Relations Officer plays a key role in the development and implementation of ABB E-mobility’s investor relations strategy, will have a proven skill set and track record in one or more of the key competence areas, is a reliable and valued resource for both internal and external stakeholders, and demonstrates leadership in collaboration with the ABB IR team and the rest of the ABB organization. The role reports to the CFO ABB E-mobility. Preferred location is Switzerland but there is some flexibility within Europe.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible for formulating and executing the Investor Relations strategy for ABB E-mobility, including pre and post IPO dimensions.
• Help develop and maintain the ABB E-mobility Equity story in conjunction with the senior management team as well as other relevant functions and business units.
• Acting as a primary contact for external enquiries from the financial community, providing accurate and timely information in order to build confidence and trust in the company.
• Developing and managing long-term relationships with institutional investors and analysts with the aim of educating them about ABB E-mobility’s business, strategy and financial performance, developing a high level of trust and credibility, and establishing two-way communications that enables timely feedback from the market to management.
• Developing strategic content and build presentations with a clear message meeting executive demands of ABB E-mobility’s top management team and the global financial community.
• Supporting and coordinating internal or external communication of financial or stock market-related information (e.g., press releases, internal management meetings, Board meetings) ensuring timely and compliant disclosure to regulators and key stakeholders.
• Additional support to the management team in relation to the execution of ad hoc strategic projects including M&A and business development

Your background

• University degree or equivalent education.
• At least 10 years of work experience ideally in Investor Relations in a corporate environment or as Analyst or corporate finance environment.
• Knowledge of the E-mobility sector would be an added benefit
• Good financial background combined with sound understanding of underlying business activities.
• Mature and refined communication skills to be able to influence and manage key stakeholders from the wider financial community
• Strong people, social and relationship skills.
• Absolute integrity and trustworthiness to manage highly sensitive non-public information.
• Hands on, action orientated, team player with fluent English
