As a Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist you contribute with your expertise and commitment to the successful execution of Cloud projects at Axpo Trading & Sales. In this role, you will lead and manage an international team of IT Infrastructure professionals. Furthermore, you are going to lead and manage cross company Cloud initiatives.

What you will do
  • You are going to lead an internal team of IT Infrastructure specialist and going to build up in-house capability in Cloud engineering
  • You have the lead in Cloud projects (technical & implementation lead)
  • You will develop and design Cloud-native initiatives in Azure Cloud
  • You lead (together with the IT Architecture team) Cloud adaption within Trading IT incl. Cloud strategy, Cloud governance, Cloud platform design, and Cloud automation

What you bring & who you are
  • You successfully completed a University degree in computer science or business administration
  • You bring 10+ years of experience working on large IT Infrastructure projects (Architecture, Design, Implementation, Operation) and 5+ years of Hands-on and in-depth knowledge Azure Cloud
  • You bring 3+ years of Hands-on and in-depth experience in Container technologies (Kubernetes, AKS)
  • You have an in-depth knowledge of Cloud adaption, Cloud strategy, and Cloud governance
  • You have an understanding of modern software architecture and design (focus on Trading software)
  • Profound expertise in the configuration of Azure Services using Terraform
  • You are a person with strong leadership skills
  • Your English skills are advanced (written & oral)
