XLab is Profidata’s research and innovation center based in Zürich, Switzerland. With a small and passionate team, we are developing new cloud-native productivity tools, that are good looking as well as fun and easy to use.

In the XLab we are building easy-to-use cloud solutions for the financial industry.

For our next module we are looking for a

Senior Java Backend Developer 100% (w/m/d)IHRE AUFGABEN

Work in an agile (Kanban) team, continuously delivering new functionality

Focus on backend development with Java16 (soon 17) and Spring Boot

Design, build, automate, deploy and maintain highly available, robust and secure,

client-facing wealth management applications in different cloud environments

Providing APIs for frontend applications and booking systems

Contribute to the implementation of DevOps concepts such as cloud deployment

automation

Participate in code reviews

Take ownership of the code and applications throughout the full life cycle

A ’can do’ attitude with the ability to getting things done

Very good knowledge of building microservice-based backends using Java and

Spring Boot

Experience in reactive programming

TDD is not a buzzword for you, you write your tests first

Experience with Docker and container orchestration, preferably kubernetes

Fluency in English, German language skills are a plus

Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana and Kafka are a plus

Experience in areas of finance, wealth management and knowledge of financial

instruments are a plus
