LSI is looking for a Senior Manager, Controlling Specialistlocated in Visp or Basel, Switzerland.

As a Finance Business Partner for one of our biggest client, you analyze and support in the area of pricing, financial analysis for contract negotiations & investment cases.

Key responsibilities:

• Financial business partner for key part of the SPS business.

• Analysis and decision support in the area of pricing, financial analysis for contract negotiations, supply contracts, modeling, project evaluations, performance measures, strategic planning etc.

• Independent ownership of all financials processes for this part of the business (closing, reporting, monthly Outlook, yearly Target and mid-term planning) including all financials (PnL, MPR, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

• Analyzing, interpreting, providing transparency and challenging the businesses’ financial performance.

• Highlights key areas of interest and comes proactively with improvement proposals and assesses their financial impact.

• Shares global responsibility for financial and management accounting in accordance with IFRS, the LSI Finance Accounting Manual (FAM), the LSI Management Accounting Manual (MAM) and other required accounting principles.

• Takes an active role in the 13-week cash forecast.

• Supports key BU/Functional projects

• Continuously looks for improvements (e.g. processes).

• Supports important projects (e.g. due diligences).
  

Key requirements:

• Master’s Degree; Preferred area of study: Finance, Accounting or Controlling.

• A strong understanding of accounting is critical, and a CPA, CFA and/or MBA are a plus.

• Working experience in Controlling, FP&A or Corporate Finance.

• Engage strong business partnering, understand internal and external customer needs, usage of systematic approaches to ensure key metrics are tracked and analyzed for continuous improvement.

• Set and deliver on individual and team objectives that support the company strategy.

• Prioritize multiple demands and leads defined work to successful conclusion on time, takes personal accountability and direct 2-way communication within the team and other organizations.

• Work in partnership as an active member within the team and cross- functional working groups.

• Data modelling, programming and dashboarding skills.

• Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication in English and German.
