Johnson & Johnson Consumer is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Digital Platforms to be located in New Jersey, New York, Singapore, Sao Paulo, Zug or High Wycombe. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company.

The Senior Manager, Digital Platforms will lead the Web Platforms & Services that support our portfolio of Brand websites on a global scale. You will craft and delivering the strategy for a suite of digital products and solutions.

The web portfolio is comprised of 700 websites globally, the majority of which are on a standard web platform and work has been underway for over a year to define the future state approach in the context of enabling an omnichannel MarTech approach. This position will and have the opportunity to interact with the company’s senior leaders, regional stakeholders to shape Johnson & Johnsons modern marketing practice.

You will lead all aspects of a roadmap and product teams to for an improved consumer experience across our digital assets.

Your Role
  • Be responsible for the product strategy vision and lead product teams to deliver web platforms and related services.
  • Own and drive delivery of a product roadmap, ensuring focus on business needs and establishing clear critical metrics in collaboration with marketing partners.
  • Develop talent that can lead the successful delivery of modern approaches to global omnichannel capabilities and build a source of competitive advantage for J&J Consumer brands.
  • Manage existing web platform ecosystem expansive of long-term planning towards the defined target state.
  • Play a key role in providing a view “over the horizon” in Marketing Technology to define our next generation ecosystem.
  • Partner with our wider IT community to ensure all aspects of technology needs are considered in the selection and integration of new technologies
  • Drive as well as challenge practices across the global organization and put in place processes which focus on consistency, quality/compliance, cost and speed.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of our technical architecture and challenge our engineering teams to deliver against defined goals.
  • Lead meetings with senior members of our business organizations and digital brand marketing teams ensuring they drive to the best strategic outcomes.
  • Hire and develop digital experts who bring the expertise we need to drive our agreed business outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Architecture, or Computer Science, or similar field is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of leading product development of digital services is required.
  • Experience delivering large scale, high-availability and high-performance digital applications, for large companies, is required.
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple large, complex projects in the digital marketing space.
  • Experience managing business process change across digital delivery organizations.
  • Deep understanding of the end-to-end technology stack, including hosting, networking, virtual infrastructure, monitoring, web servers, caching, database, CMS, front-end, microservices, and front-end frameworks is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of managing digital platforms and the setup and management of teams which deploy on these platforms is required.
  • Experience with quality assurance / testing processes.
  • Prior experience in online marketing and/or advertising as well as user experience design is required.
  • Understanding of issues covering site architecture, user-interface and navigation along with familiarity with software quality assurance processes is required.
  • Experience working in a CPG, healthcare, marketing, agency or media organization is required.
  • Experience with MarTech ecosystem capabilities and key attributes including DAM, mobile, SEO, CRM.
  • Experience with Agile methodology, Test Driven Development, QA automation, and DevOps processes is required.
  • Strong problem solving skills; responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities and changing environment.
  • An ability to analyze and understand data and trends and deliver process improvement plans to address opportunity areas identified.
