THE ROLE

At Wella Digital, we cooperate with every part of the company, enabling effective and efficient business operations. in an international, mutli-divisional environment.

Our main objective is to enable markets and brands to grow through our Digital capabilities, following key operating principles:
  • Digital Excellence – we ensure the Digital delivery follows a set of guiding principles and standards that all products adhere to and markets apply that Digital Excellence to how they use the Digital capabilities we provide
  • Value for money – we strive for solutions and decisions that ensure our Digital spend deliver value for money providing rationalised solutions where possible
  • Speed and Agility – we embrace change and deliver agile solutions to reduce cost of change and meet respond quickly to business needs i.e., maximise use of API without need to redesign
  • Compliance – Our solutions will ensure ongoing regulatory and legal compliances to minimize business exposure to risk i.e., security, data access, GDPR
Digital function is a key area of growth for Wella, so it is key that the Digital Delivery team adheres to a set of processes and delivery framework to deliver excellence to the brands and markets. This is an opportunity to define and evolve ways of working of the Digital Delivery team.

We are looking for a Digital PMO person to join the Wella Digital team. The Digital PMO role will be a key player in the success of this function by defining and enabling the guiding rails that the Digital Team require to excel. Highly visible position, reporting directly to the VP of Technology and Innovation at Wella.

It is the responsibility of the Digital PMO to ensure that the teams adhere to the defined governance model and report on a regular basis status of their projects, risks and issues, tracking against budget and future roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Portfolio Management
  • Ownership of Digital Governance and Portfolio Management frameworks
  • Support the Global Digital Delivery Officer run all the delivery processes all the way from strategy and portfolio level to the product and platform level
  • Oversight, tracking, reporting, and cross Digital teams facilitation of key governance processes and KPIs.
  • Status reporting
  • Risk and issue management
  • Ownership of operational and project related financial budgeting, management and reporting
  • Governance oversight of all Wella Digital operational processes
Demand & Resource Management
  • Ownership, governance oversight and cross-party facilitation of the end-to-end Demand Management (incl. capture, prioritisation, resource planning & delivery) spanning business functions, Wella Digital and 3rd party strategic delivery partners.
  • Resource management & capacity planning for internal and 3rd party resources
Process improvement
  • Continuously seeks to improve the Digital Delivery Model and Governance model to seek delivery excellence and efficiencies
  • Defines templates and processes for the teams to follow
  • Work with the teams to simplify processes where possible
People management
  • Experience in managing and developing people.
Qualifications

Essential:
  • This role requires an experienced and highly organised professional
  • 10-12 years relevant work experience in the Digital field of which around 5 years in management with some years in a state-of-the-art corporate environment
  • Strong experience of Governance forums
  • Extensive experience of management and oversight across a range of Digital projects
  • Demand management and prioritisation experience
  • Experience of working in global organisations
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication / interpersonal skills and negotiating ability
  • Ability to understand user needs, expectations and impacts of any changes
  • Planning, analytical and project management skills
  • Experience of managing significant delivery budgets
  • Commercial acumen in relation to vendor management and service contracts in the Digital space
Desirable:
  • Working knowledge of any of the following languages would be a plus: French, Spanish.
