MAIN PURPOSEThe agile Community of Practice Lead is a strong servant leader empowering people across Group Technology teams , as well as leadership and business to embrace the new Operating Model leveraging agile product organization. The agile Community of Practice Lead is an agile guardian aiming to promote change, learning and advocating for a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust across the team. As such, (s)he is accountable for leading all agile coaching, training and communications activities to foster adoption of Agile ways of working across Group Technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high standards of coaching are applied across agile teams and the culture of self-organizing and autonomous agile teams is fostered
- Create the conditions of success to ensure GT commitments, pace and quality are on track
- Strengthen senior leadership and teams’ growing adoption of Agile, e.g., Scrum and Kanban
- Be a thought leader for Agile ways of working and working with peers across the Group to broaden and mature agile practices
- Promote early delivery of business value, product management, design thinking, engineering culture, and DevOps
- Partner with learning peers, create content and facilitate trainings and workshops on Agile practices as required
- Liaise with Business Sponsors to ensure Product Owners have the required input to prioritize the backlog
- Participate in Agile Communities of Practice.
- Be hands-on when required, engage with teams at a tactical and strategic level. Actively problem identify and solve
- Consolidate QADs outputs with non-agile roll-out dependencies
- Reconcile PO synchronizations and Scrum of Scrums
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or in a relevant field or experience in agile product management
- Consulting background is a must
- Demonstrated experience of experience playing an active leadership role in scaled agile transformations, coaching large enterprise organizations on agile best practices
- Self-initiative, courage and pragmatism
- Empathic, confident and persuasive communicator
- Experience with scrum mastering and agile at scale
- Strong people management experience
- Industry-recognized certification, including but not limited to: SAFe, LESS or equivalent Certifications and experience in Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe
- Ability to work with consulting teams on improvement and documentation of the operating model to create sustainable assets
- Capacity to embark internal agile coaches to create internal capabilities
- Experience with workflow management tools like JIRA/Confluence
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-growing, rapidly changing environment
- Excellent proficiency in English. Fluency in additional languages is a strong asset
- Must have demonstrated success in leading and developing Global distributed Teams on a multinational global environment
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, team mentoring and product management
