As part of our Corporate Security Organization, the Product Security Teams are responsible for developing and maintaining a high-quality service toward our internal and external customers. We are looking for a highly skilled person who will be responsible for the position Senior Manager Product Securitywithin u-blox. In this role you will represent u-blox Product Security internally and externally, leading and coordinating all Product Security activities across the u-blox product centers.

This IoT security position is an excellent opportunity to apply a broad range of technical and functional kills and to gain strong visibility within the company. You will be accountable for driving definition and implementation of Product and Service Security Standards across all Product Centers.

Besides, you will play a key role in developing our company’s security strategy, collaborating with your peers in the Corporate Security Organization and from other parts of the organization (product management, quality, sales…). You will contribute to shaping the u-blox product and service roadmap in security, by identifying security requirements from applicable laws, standards and market feedback, and driving consideration of them in the definition of new products.

Your responsibilities

• Functionally lead the Product Center Security Experts, and interfaces with Product Center management to ensure development of secure products and services, in accordance with the defined policies and standards
• Manage the u-blox Red Team, which is responsible for in-house security testing of products and IT Services
• Define and own product security & service security policies, processes and standards, drives implementation and ensures adherence is audited
• Ensure and promote product and development security awareness within the company
• Identify and assess internal and external product and service security threats and risks, define mitigation activities, review implementation and report residual risks & KPIs to Corporate Security
• Interface with customers, suppliers, certification bodies, auditors, security researchers and other external stakeholders regarding u-blox product & service security
• Coordinate Product- & Service Security Vulnerability Handling & Incident Response

Your skills and experience

• Degree in Computer Science or Comparable Fields, specific security certifications would be a plus (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CEH, OSCP…)
• Min. 12 years of broad IT experience, in incorporating software solutions (e.g. software, system engineering, software architecture, IT project management)
• Minimum 7 years of specific experience in Cyber Security / Product Security, ideally with electronics industry background
• A self-motivated, strong team player and lateral leader with very good analytical skills
• Experienced in communication, training, and coaching, negotiating, and handling conflict situation
• Able to handle multitasking within a fast-moving environment
• Readiness to travel globally up to 20% of time
• Very good English skills, both spoken and written, German or Italian skills are a plus
• Swiss or EU/EFTA citizen or resident with valid work permit for Switzerland
