Your field of responsibility


Working within Chief Risk Office (CRO), the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) team is responsible for managing the annual ICAAP assessment and report production for Credit Suisse Group & Credit Suisse Parent. The role and responsibilities includes:

  • Putting together the annual plan for completion of the ICAAP assessment
  • Identifying areas for enhancing the current process aligned with management strategic priorities
  • Project managing the delivery of all items in the plan including any self-identified or regulatory enhancements
  • Working with all the ICAAP contributors to produce the report
  • Chair the ICAAP Working group and escalate any issues to the overall ICAAP Accountable Executive
  • Act as editor of the ICAAP document, and facilitate the N-2 review and challenge process
  • Prepare the management summary presentations for the Governance committees to review and approve the Group and Parent ICAAP
  • Set-up and manage a dedicated legal entities working group to ensure the oversight of the legal entities ICAAPs framework and contribute to enhance partnership across regions, divisions and legal entities to deliver improved key framework decisions and explore opportunities for alignment across the ICAAPs.

This role is an impactful leadership position in the Global Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function. ERM provides enterprise risk analysis and reporting at Group level, covering aggregate risk profile and development and oversight of firm-wide frameworks across risk appetite, risk identification & stress testing, and providing a risk perspective on capital management. ERM facilitates alignment across divisional and legal entities enterprise functions and acts as the guardian and controller for Group risk strategy (incl. related Corporate Centre risk), risk appetite, stress testing, exposures, mitigation, and aggregate risk metrics. The role offers a multifaceted working environment with significant exposure to senior management, internal and external partners. Your skills and experience


We are looking for candidates having:

  • University degree combined with profound industry experience in Risk Management in a business unit or control function substantially contributing to the management of regulatory interactions
  • Interaction with senior management and excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with interpreting and implementing rules and regulations
  • Experience in managing ICAAP for Legal Entity or Group level from either an execution side or from a regulatory review side
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in English
  • Experience in communication at the highest senior management levels, including the crafting of presentations, analysis, and executive briefings
  • Proven ability to engage a larger group of people across departments and locations and lead to results and positive outcomes
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible way and with focus on aspects most relevant to the specific audience
  • Analytical and decision-making skills to identify key issues and take appropriate decisions
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to work against deadlines with the highest degree of accuracy
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
