The Senior Marketing Manager, Nursing Strategic Programs, will be responsible for the design, deployment and execution of strategic marketing programs that creates value, engage and connect TAVI nurses in European hospitals, in a context of nurse and overall in-hospital capacity shortage. He/she will map the needs and opportunities at EU level, design EU programs towards nurses, develop messages, tools and engagement models and define execution plans for EU countries. This person will work in strong partnership with nurse KOLs, external agencies/third parties as well as with country business and marketing teams and other EU support functions. This role will require especially in the initial phase, to deploy the nursing programs towards customers in selected countries, being the direct interface to customers.

Develop, align and deploy the strategy& tactics for the Nursing programs in European markets.
  • Work with internal/external stakeholders to design messages, materials and channel.
  • Work with local management teams and EU support functions to deploy the program in European countries
  • Communicate, deploy and localize the programs towards internal field teams and TAVI nurses for disseminations in EU hospitals and country events
  • Define project metrics and analytic tools that helps to drive the deployment of the program in the different countries and measure its impact. Identify opportunities to enhance the program and embed it in our overall customer engagement strategy and maximize the value for customers and Edwards Lifesciences

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s Degree with >10 years of work experience or Master’s Degree or equivalent with 5-10 years of related experience working in sales, marketing, or healthcare industry

Required Skills
  • Bachelor degree or Master’s degree in nursing with marketing, project management and/or sales experience working in/or with clients in the pharma, medical devices, or healthcare/hospitals
  • Experience in developing and deploying complex programs impacting hospitals or healthcare institutions
  • Expertise in cardiovascular nursing, hospital processes, patient pathways and treatment models improvement impacting in-/out hospital stakeholders practices and resources
  • Ability to understand, interpret and manage clinical and economic data from both presentations and publications
  • Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders through utilization of organizational channels, experience and influencing skills to persuade others of the course of action
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including sales & marketing leadership
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Creative out of the box thinker who is intellectually curious
  • Possesses good organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong individual contributor. Speaks up when important information or questions must be raised and takes action when issues must be addressed
  • Travel requirements: Willing to travel internationally in Europe up to 50% of the time
