Are you an experienced Oracle Developer with excellent knowledge of SQL und PL/SQL? Do you enjoy turning complex requirements into simple designs?
If you have great analytical and design skills and you’re able to deal with large volume data processing, this could be the perfect role for you.

EPAM is looking for a Senior Oracle Developer to provide database expertise for day-to-day support of production and development environments at one of its longstanding banking clients in Zürich.

Responsibilities

  • Oracle database development
  • Optimization and tuning of existing database views, PL/SQL stored procedures and packages
  • Keeping a sharp focus on database design, security, and performance
  • Preparing technical documentation (Software Architecture Documents)

Requirements

  • Being an experienced Oracle Developer
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL und PL/SQL
  • Experience in logical and physical data modelling, performance tuning and Dimensional modelling / Data Warehouse
  • Good understanding of data driven solutions and approach to large volume data processing
  • Very good analytical and design skills, and the ability to grasp complex business or technical issues in a structured and efficient manner
  • Experience in Oracle Database Administration
  • Experience with Azure Databricks is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
